The Clinton campaign and the DNC paid over 9 million dollars for the discredited dossier that led to the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.

This followed Hillary Clinton approving the Obama administration’s Russian Uranium One deal…. though the FBI had evidence of Russian extortion, bribery, money laundering and kickbacks with millions going to the Clinton Foundation.

The collusion narrative is a classic case of projection where Clinton accused President Trump of the very thing she is guilty of doing.

6 soldiers died searching for Bergdahl after what we now know was his voluntary absence from his post.

Bergdahl faces as much as 5 years in prison for “desertion” and up to a life sentence for the “misbehavior before the enemy” charge.

On the heels of incumbent Tennessee Senator Bob Corker’s announcement that he won’t seek re-election, incumbent Republican Arizona Senator Jeff Flake has announced that he will not seek re-election either.

In spite of his incumbent status and a huge funding advantage, conservative state legislator Dr. Kelli Ward dominated Jeff Flake in the polls.

Some recent polls showed Dr. Ward with a 20 point lead.  The writing was clearly on the wall so Senator Flake said “no mas.”

During Senate confirmation hearings Senators Dick Durbin and Diane Feinstein probed Amy Barrett, President Trump’s nominee to fill a vacancy on he 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, about her Catholic faith.

Senator Feinstein chided Professor Barrett, proclaiming, “the dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s of concern.”

Of course Feinstein was really concerned about the Regressive Holy Grail, Roe v. Wade, ending up in the dust bin of history.

First it was Russell Vought.  Now its Amy Coney Barrett.  The Senate has no regard for the Constitution.

Among the Ten Commandments, the first thing God sought to prohibit in the nation of Israel was idolatry. Idolatry includes the worship of statues and inanimate objects, but it also includes excessive attachment, veneration, and reverence for any person other than the Lord.

I believe God did that because He knew men would be tempted to defer their judgment and reasoning to the experts. Based on their academic accomplishment, based on the numbers of letters behind their names, we would accept their opinions as facts.

But remember, the Bible tells us the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. If you fear God, you have a leg up on the competition.

In the case that is to Religious Liberty what Roe v. Wade was to abortion, the Department of Justice has weighed in on the side of Religious Liberty and Jack Phillips in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case pending before the Supreme Court.

The DOJ argued in an amicus brief that the State of Colorado’s attempt to force Jack Phillips to celebrate a homosexual wedding against his beliefs by baking a cake is unconstitutional.

What is the source of America's greatness? Alexis de Tocqueville, a 19^th century French political thinker and philosopher, had this exact same question.

On the heels of the French Revolution, he came to America in 1831 to investigate America's ascendency. In doing so, he found that America's greatness did not lie in her economic system. It did not lie in her banking system. Nor did it lie in her educational system.

He found that America's pulpits, aflamed with righteousness, was the source of America's greatness. He opined that America is great because she is good, but when America ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.

Let us pray for restoration of the flame of righteousness in our pulpits.

In a weeklong program against gender-violence, racial-violence, socioeconomic status-violence and violence due to “ability levels” the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada has unveiled their Masculinity Confession Booth.

There, troubled students have the opportunity to “unburden themselves and disclose their sins of hyper masculinity.”

According to the university “we’ve all reinforced hyper-masculinity in one way or another, regardless of our gender.”

This is the type of foolishness that’s trending on the university campuses around the world.  Common sense isn’t so common anymore.

Iowa State University International Studies Professor James Strohman assigned students to write an essay that gives an historical account of 9/11 from the terrorists’ perspective.

He wants students to get in touch with how might Al-Qaeda or a non-Western historian describe the event.

If you’ve noticed love for our country seems to wane among some of our young people perhaps it’s due to professors using academia as cover to indoctrinate them to empathize with terrorists.
