On Air Force One, en route to the NATO Summit in the Netherlands, President Trump plainly stated that he is not interested in regime change in Iran. Concerning the matter he said,
I don’t want it. I’d like to see everything calm down as quickly as possible. Regime change takes chaos and ideally, we don’t want to see so much chaos, so we’ll see how it does.
President Trump’s opposition to regime change comments follow his announcement of a resumed ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
