Though you may not have heard much about this from Goebbels Inc., the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy implemented by former President Barack Obama is unconstitutional.
Though 600,000 so-called Dreamers had already obtained status under the unconstitutional action, the appellate court concluded that former president Obama did not have the constitutional authority implement the program via executive memo.
This is yet another example of regressive contempt for the rule of law. Thankfully it is being corrected.
