Senator Josh Hawley questioned U.C. Berkley Law Professor Khiara Bridges as to why she described women as “people with the capacity for pregnancy.”
Senator Hawley replied, “so this (pregnancy) isn’t really a women’s rights issue, it’s a what?”
Professor Bridges then stated that Senator Hawley’s “line of questioning” was “transphobic” and “opened trans-people to violence.”
A constitutional law professor stated in a congressional hearing that men can get pregnant.
