It was announced last week that prosecutors in Canada have agreed to withdraw all but one of the Public Health Act offenses that Pastor James Coates was charged with. Additionally, after a month-long incarceration that began February 16th, Pastor Coates was finally released from jail without any conditions, pending his May 3rd trial on the one remaining charge of violating an Order of the Chief Medical Officer when he refused to limit corporate worship in the church he pastors due to Covid.
Yeah, they put him in jail for that.
