Columbia University is slated to hold six segregated graduation ceremonies, in addition to its school-wide ceremony, based on ethnicity, income, and sexual orientation.
Yep, you heard me right.
The segregation celebrations listed include:
“Latinx Graduation,”
“Black Graduation,”
“Asian Graduation,”
“Native Graduation” for Native American students,
“Lavender Graduation” for the LGBTQIAP+ identified,
and an “FLI Graduation” for “first generation and/or low income community students.”
This is textbook regressivism! What is wrong with these people?!?!?!?!
Who in their right mind would think segregating graduation ceremonies like this would make life better in America?
