The Arkansas legislature has passed and its governor signed into law a measure that bans abortion except to save the life of a pregnant woman in a physician determined medical emergency. The value of a person’s life isn’t determined by the circumstances in which they were conceived. So, there are no other exceptions in the law.

It’s expressly stated in its legislative findings that intentional elimination of infant life is a crime against humanity. This is the first law to explicitly do so and it will challenge the horrendous 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and its progeny.
