More From The Hamilton Minute

“Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.”  Isaiah 59:14 (NASB).

My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.

In a 6-3 split ruling in South Bay United Pentecostal Church et al. v. Gavin Newsom, the U.S. Supreme Court decided California’s absolute prohibition of in-person worship was unconstitutional. But, it ruled that the government could limit in-person worship to 25% of building capacity and the government can prohibit in-person worshipers from singing.

This from the most conservative supreme court in our lifetimes…

I missed the part where the constitution provides a Covid-19 exception to the First Amendment that allows government to dictate church worship policy.
