In the 47 years of the march’s history, none of the Republican presidents then in office have seen fit to grace its stage. An obvious decision was made to maintain a degree of separation from the pro-lifers.
Perhaps now, feckless Republican politicians will have the courage to stand up for innocent children and recognize the pro-life position isn’t one to shrink away from… that is… if they believe what they campaign on.
