A convicted sex offender protested to the court that he had always been an 8 year-old girl.

Joseph Gobrick, 45, was convicted in 2001 and served 8 years in prison for sexual abuse. He was re-arrested in 2018 after a 17 year-old missing Ohio girl was found in his Grand Rapids, MI home.

Gobrick was also found with child pornography on his computer including images of infants to five year olds.

He claimed to be an 8 year-old girl as a defense against the new charges.
