 In a bipartisan show of unity, Congress has passed the PACT Act. The bill expands a 2010 law to make animal cruelty and torture a federal felony.

 Republican Senator Pat Toomey calls it a major victory to stop animal cruelty.

 Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal said, “there’s no place in a civilized society for maiming and torturing animals—period.”

 We can see bipartisan support to protect animals, but there is no such support in Congress to protect unborn children from maiming, torture, and murder.
