Religious freedom suffered another setback when the Washington State Supreme Court ruled against Barronelle Stutzman for refusing to create custom floral arrangements for a same-sex wedding.

Following the Masterpiece Cakeshop ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court ordered Washington state to reconsider the Stutzman case.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Colorado was too mean to Jack Phillip’s religious beliefs when they trampled his first amendment rights.

The Washington Court found no such meanness or animus against Barronelle Stutzman’s flower shop, so the state was right to deny her first amendment protections.

The free exercise of religion has been made subordinate to sexual deviancy.
