CNN’s audience shriveled in the second quarter of 2019, averaging only 541,000 total viewers and it struggled even more during the primetime hours: 8-11 p.m. ET finishing 15th on basic cable behind TLC, Investigation Discovery and the Hallmark Channel.
Losing nearly 40% of their primetime audience which already trailed Fox News and MSNBC has their upper brass scrambling for solutions.
