After a failed effort to unseat Senator Cruz, Robert Francis O’Rourke has become a regressive darling.
O’Rourke demonstrated his commitment to taking America backwards in a recorded conversation, reported by the Washington Post, where he openly questioned the current relevance of the U.S. Constitution and whether our nation should still be governed by “the same principles that were set down 230-plus years ago.”
Regressive ideology is steeped in an unyielding effort to fundamentally transform America into something other than America. Whether its the judiciary, the legislature, the presidency or the culture at large, the U.S. Constitution is an impediment to be overcome.
