San Francisco based online health information website Healthline, a competitor of WebMD, has unveiled a new LGBT-inclusive sex education guide geared toward youth.
In it, the medical term for female reproductive anatomy is replaced with the words “front hole.”
Healthline argues that it is correcting the oft-repeated error of "unnecessarily describing body parts as 'male part' or 'female parts,' excluding those who identify as non-binary. Many individuals don’t see body parts as having a gender.”
We probably should avoid a health information website that’s confused about anatomy.
