During his final year in office the Obama administration spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs to defend its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act.
Millions of dollars were spent to keep the American public from receiving pertinent information about our government… from “the most transparent administration in history…”
$36.2 million to go to court, to protect its refusal to release information to the American public is a lot of money to spend to keep secrets. It leaves me wondering, what are they hiding?
