On the heels of incumbent Tennessee Senator Bob Corker’s announcement that he won’t seek re-election, incumbent Republican Arizona Senator Jeff Flake has announced that he will not seek re-election either.
In spite of his incumbent status and a huge funding advantage, conservative state legislator Dr. Kelli Ward dominated Jeff Flake in the polls.
Some recent polls showed Dr. Ward with a 20 point lead. The writing was clearly on the wall so Senator Flake said “no mas.”
