Preborn network clinics help women choose life through a free ultrasound
>> Bobby Roza: We are living in a time when truth is under attack. Lies are easy to tell, easy to spread and easy to believe. But truth, truth is costly. And nowhere is the cost greater than from others in crisis. When a woman is told abortion is her only option, silence and lies surround her. But when she walks into a pre born network clinic, she's met with compassion, support and the truth about the life growing inside her. That moment of truth happens through a free ultrasound and it's a game changer. When a mother sees her baby and hears that heartbeat, it literally doubles the chance she'll choose life. Preborn network clinics are on the front lines, meeting women in their darkest hour, loving them, helping them choose life and sharing truth. Friend, this is not a time to be silent. It's a time for courage, for truth, for life. Just $28 provides one ultrasound and the opportunity for a mother to see her baby to help her choose truth and life. Donate today. Call £250 and say baby. That's £250 baby. Or give online@preborn.com afr that's preborn.com forward/afr.
>> Walker Wildmon: We inform religious freedom is about people of faith being able to live out their faith, live out their convictions no.
>> Rick Green: Matter where they are. We equip sacred honor is the courage. To speak truth, to live out your free speech.
>> Don Wildmon: We also rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character and character hope. This is at the Core on American Family Radio.
Rick Green: At the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green
>> Rick Green: Welcome to at the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green. I'm Rick Green, America's Constitution coach. Appreciate you joining me today on this Thursday, you know, on Tuesday we we basically replayed my initial thoughts right after the Charlie Kirk Memorial recorded it on the Monday after so be, you know, more than a week ago and I did that in my show called the Tavern. If you haven't been watching that, be sure and watch on Mondays at 6 o' clock Central, 7 o' clock Eastern. It's just chance to join you like they did in the founding era in the taverns and the parlors and the churches where we talked about the strategies and tactics to save the nation. And what we did on Tuesday was I re aired basically, shared with you the audio from my Tavern episode the day after Charlie's memorial service. And I didn't have enough time in Tuesday's show to finish that out. And so I'm just going to play the very last part of that episode for our first few minutes today and then we'll jump into some of the headlines.
2nd Corinthians 10 is one of the four scriptures we're studying
So let's jump back into the Tavern, and then we'll be back in studio in just a few minutes. Here we go.
>> Rick Green: Oh, and by the way, if I. Sound kind of schizophrenic and crazy in these few minutes of that last part. Of that episode from the Tavern, it's because what I'm doing is reading the. Questions in the chat and answering them. So it might sound a little bit weird, but let's give it a try. I wish I could hibernate for a couple of days after that trip. I got a daughter getting married and, son getting married in a few weeks. And like I said, we're hitting the ground running, man. We're not slowing down one bit. I had said we would slow down on July 5, 2026. I'm gonna have to take that back because now David Barton has convinced me the 250th is actually the whole year of the 250th, so it's actually through July 4th, 2027. So I don't get to rest until July 5th, 2027. So let's go. Come on. thank you, Jeremy. That's exactly what I was looking for. 2nd Corinthians 10. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God. For pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity. The obedience of Christ. 100%, Jeremy. That's the one. That's the one I was looking for. Tim and David and I talked about that on radio today. And, yeah, that is defin one of the four scriptures, that we're gonna start repeating over and over and over again and literally building entire classes around.
President Trump retweeted article about commission of states on his Truth Social
Alex said, did you see that President Trump reposted an article about commission of states on his Truth Social? Yes. I don't know if you saw my. I shared that. I retweeted that and pointed out, you know, I've said since 2010 in my first Constitution class, we have to do amendments to the Constitution to reign in the federal government. If we don't do this, we won't save the republic. And then, of course, two years later, was able to, read Mark Levin's book on liberty Amendments, Cos started. And, then we finally got connected with him, I think, in 2017. And of course, everybody knows it's a bromance now. So, as my wife said last night, Cos and Patriot Academy are not Sister organizations, They're brother organizations. so, yes, I'm so glad President Trump tweeted that. And our Truth Social, that. What do you say about truth?
>> Rick Green: How do you say that fast? anyway, yes, that is, that is going to really help to give some, give some momentum. Oh, Terry, I'm so glad y' all watched all of it, man. It was well worth watching. Yes, I'm your huckleberry. Thank you for that reference, Terry. let's go. Val Kilmer, Doc Holliday. yeah. I thought her forgiveness was fantastic. Robin. So good.
Mark says the memorial service was extraordinary. You could feel spirit being ushered in
Okay, let's see. I think I got everybody. Oh, Mark, said after watching the headliners they brought in for the worship service, I've seen them all but Brandon Lake, but I have tickets to see him soon. You could feel the spirit being ushered in just viewing it. So excited that a majority of the cabinet, even the president, Vice President, got to feel the Holy Ghost sweep through the ones attending. Yeah, Mark, I totally agree. And honestly, I wasn't familiar with Brandon Lake, of course, Chris Tomblin and all those other guys. I was, And my kids laughed at me when they found out I wasn't familiar. But, Man, what a beautiful voice. And just a, Indescribable. Totally indescribable. worship service. I can't describe it. Jermaine said the memorial service was extraordinary. If you can include the sound check and services. It was close to 10 hours. Yeah, it was an overflow stadium. That was about 100,000. Imagine a total of 200,000 attending. Yeah, no doubt. The fruit, April, you're right. That's kind of what I was searching for there. The fruit.
>> Rick Green: You will know them by their fruit. The fruit was on display yesterday. Thank you. That's perfect. That's exactly the word I was looking for. I might even borrow that tonight.
>> Allen Jackson: Oh, man.
Okay. I got 10 minutes before we go live on Flashpoint
>> Rick Green: Okay. All right, I think I got Everybody. I got 10 minutes before we go live on Flashpoint, so I know they're gonna want to test all the, all the connections and everything. So I better hop off. Love y'. All. Thank you for being on tonight. Thank you for joining me in the tavern. Make sure you pick you up some patriot brew@patriotbrew.com and join me next Monday, 6 o'. Clock. We'll see you. Thanks for being here in the tavern.
We have to be ready to answer questions
>> Rick Green: Alright folks, we're back in studio here at American, ah, Family Radio. Actually, again like Tuesday, not in studio this week because I'm on the road doing both a Liberty Pastors event in Florida, which Just absolutely outstanding. I just left there and, man, I mean, we had four days with these pastors, getting them fired up, going deep, teaching some really cool stuff. and then, today off to Indiana for a big fish Flashpoint live event. Got two nights there. We're, gonna have a great time. Lucas Miles from Turning Point, Faith gonna be with us and a lot of other folks. So really, really looking forward to that. but I was gonna say, since I mentioned Patriot Brew there at the end of the Tavern episode, that's what you were just listening to. By the way, if you just tuned in, that's our coffee at Patriot, Academy. So I'm a coffee snob. I just gotta admit it. M. I'm a coffeeaholic and a coffee snob. And so we shopped, beans all over the world toto come up with this, what I think are three of the best flavors in, coffee. And then of course, we have some really fantastic, mixing of the founding documents and coffee on the back of each of our bags. And you just have to get one to know what I'm talking about. But I wrote some really cool, funny, things there, that combine the founding documents and my love of coffee. So check that out. You can go to patriotbrew.com or patriotacademy.com anyway, so for those of you that are, just tuning in, I was giving you the tail end today of the Tavern episode from the day after the Charlie Kirk Memorial. if you caught just that part and you're curious about the rest, we did air almost that entire episode, on Tuesdays at the core program. So at our website, you can always listen and catch up on programs that you might have missed. So if you missed Tuesday's at the core program earlier this week, you can go listen to that, and get that full commentary. it's going to continue to be. In fact, I even talked about it at this Liberty Pastors Conference. It was actually how I opened up, my first presentation. just the example that Charlie set where every time he was answering those questions. I mentioned this on Tuesday, but every time he was answering questions on campus or giving a speech or doing a panel, he was discipling, he was preaching the gospel. He didn't have to quote chapter and verse in the Bible to be preaching the gospel. And don't forget what the gospel is. It's making disciples. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I've commanded you. So nothing off the table. And Charlie didn't leave anything off the table. So you could ask him about anything, any issue, anything going on in the world, and he would do his best to answer that from a biblical perspective. That's what we have to all be ready to do. So Tuesday I talked about some of these, verses, and then of course, you heard it right there in the last part of that, tavern episode. But, with that fourth verse that we've got to destroy the arguments that are coming against the word of God, we have to be ready to answer. We have to make sure we're speaking with all boldness, and we have to make sure that we're studying to show ourselves approved. That we're ready to give those answers, no matter who our audience. So I just want to say it over and over and over again. I don't care if you're a mechanic, if you're a teacher, if you're a preacher, if you're, someone that's in public office, wherever you work, whatever you do, be ready to answer, study to show yourself approved. Speak with all boldness. Every single one of us can do that. Because you know, someone in your life is going to ask you a question about creation, about marriage, about abortion, about ivf, about, you know, what's going on in the Middle East. I mean, whatever any of those topics comes up, wouldn't you like to be able to respond immediately? Wouldn't you like to be able to give an answer that helps that person come to truth and find truth? Well, that's. I believe what the new revolution right now is going to be about is people actually taking the time to study, find truth. Study, study truth, find, in themselves, the, to respond when they get the questions so that they influence someone else in truth. It's just going to be a wildfire of truth across the country. And if you want to be a part of that, continue to listen to afr all the programs, not just at the core, every day, but listen to as much of it as you can throughout the day. Because we're constantly bringing you that truth and constantly bringing you ways to respond to people and be ready to answer. And then if you really want to go deep and get some good teaching, then come to Patriot Academy. I'm telling you, there is nothing out there like this. When you come on site, when you stay with me for just a few days at the Patriot Academy campus and you do one of our citizen congresses, our Patriot experiences, you're the legislator for three days. You're immersed into the process and it's there on our private campus and our legislative hall, our mock up of the Texas House chamber. So it's just like being at the Capitol. It's just like being a real legislator. But it gives you a chance to learn that in an environment where everybody's pulling for you, we're sharpening each other's countenance, we're learning together how to give an answer. We're learning what those answers are from God's word. And then, you know, it doesn't mean you're going to go home and run for legislature maybe, you know, a lot of our people do. We've got a lot of people that we've trained that are now in Congress and in legislatures across the country. But I'm not saying you have to, go into politics or in terms of being an actual public, servant or running for office. What I'm saying is you need to come get trained so that you're just ready to answer on whatever issue comes up. And so that if you have the opportunity to go to a town hall or go to a legislative committee or a school board meeting or whatever, you just more comfortable because you've been through this process and you know how the process works, you're better at being a citizen. that's what this is all about. Being a good biblical citizen, being a good steward of what God's given us. So please consider doing that. Go to patriotacademy.com today, patriotacademy.com at the very least, think about a young person in your life, 16 to 25 years old, and get them signed up to attend one of our Youth Leadership Congresses. That's our flagship. That's what we've done for 25 years. It's what got us started. We do it better than anybody in the world. there's a lot of people that have started programs sort of copying what we do. And, that's fine. That's, imitation of the sincerest form of flattery. Right. But nobody does it quite like we do. And for your young people in your life, this is one of the most important things you can do. If you want them to be a, Charlie Kirk in whatever area they're in, doesn't mean they're going to go have some big platform and radio show or go do what Charlie was doing on college campuses. But it means that, like Charlie, they will be ready to answer when their friends ask them questions or when they are in a position of having a chance to influence the people around them on these Major issues of the day. So patriotacademy.com, lots of programs you get into there. And if you don't have time or can't schedule an opportunity to come to the campus and do one of our citizen congresses, where you're a legislator for a few days, or you may even want to do our handgun defense course. If you don't have time to come do that. If, you can't do any of those, you can at least do a Rebuilding Liberty course in your home or at your church. That's easy. You can do it all in one day on a Sunday afternoon or Saturday. It's just about four hours long. It's, broken down into four weeks. So typically you get people together for four weeks in a row and watch the video, fill out the workbook, answer questions, have discussion. It's great fellowship. It'll really help build camaraderie and build a team, where you're all learning to be ready to answer. And also then getting involved in whatever's happening in your neighborhood because it's different all over the country and whatever your particular situation is and, you know, whatever the, battles are. I hate always using military terms, but, yeah, they're battles, in your community. If you do this class, it'll give you the ability to identify where you need to be focused in your community and have a team of people to work with you. And that could be a school board race.
Use Biblical Citizenship classes as an excuse to get people educated
It could be getting some of the bad books out of the local library or at least getting them into an adult section so kids don't have access to them. Or, it could be there's a big legislative race coming up in your. In your state where you are, or, whatever it might be, all of those things. It just helps to have other people that you can brainstorm with. No man's an island. No biblical citizen is effective all by themselves. We all need each other. and there's nothing like doing these classes and using that as an excuse to get people together, getting them educated. That's that study to show yourself approved. And then, sort of almost practicing on each other as you discuss those issues. And you say, hey, so and so asked me this question. How would you answer it? And then with those five or six people in your living room or 20 people at the church or wherever you're doing your Rebuilding Liberty or Biblical Citizenship class, you sort of figure out what that answer should be. and hold me to this, but I am planning to really, spend a lot of time and effort over the next six months, developing some tools for you in terms of being ready to answer. In other words, I think Frank. I had mentioned Frank Turek on Tuesday and how great his speech was at the memorial service for Charlie. But we've known Frank for a long time. He's, taught at Patriot Academy several times. And, his tools, his resources@crossexamine.org are phenomenal. And if nothing else, go get Frank's app, ah, cross examine and, and just do. There's a, there's a button at the bottom. I think it's called Quick Answers. And just right there, you're going to quickly be given some fantastic tools to be able to answer when you're in that situation and somebody asks you a tough question about creation or, inherency of the Bible or whatever it might be. So that's just kind of a beginning. Get that tool. Come to a Patriot Academy campus event. Host a Rebuilding Liberty course in your community. Lots more you can do.

Rick Green interviews Pastor Alan Jackson on Wall Builders
>> Rick Green: Welcome back at the Core with Walker Wildmon and Rick Green I'm Rick Green, America's Constitution coach. Thanks for staying with me.
>> Rick Green: I'm going to jump over to an interview that I had a chance to do with Pastor Allen Jackson. Jackson, if you're not familiar with him, incredible pastor out of Tennessee just does a phenomenal job. True Black Road Regiment pastor. And my, actually my pastor was just at a conference at his church and you, may have seen some of the clips online. A, lot of really good instruction on cultural engagement for the church. Anyway, had him on Wall Builders last week and our Wall Builders radio program and wanted to share that with you here on at the Core. So let's just jump into that interview on Wall Builders with Pastor Allen Jackson.
Rick welcomes Pastor Allen Jackson to the Wall Builder Show
Jackson.
>> Rick Green: Welcome back to the Wall Builder Show. Thanks for staying with us. Great to have Pastor Allen Jackson with us from World Outreach Church in Tennessee. Pastor Jackson, thanks so much for coming on, brother. Appreciate it, man.
>> Allen Jackson: Well, it's my privilege, Rick. Good to be with you today.
>> Rick Green: Well, I got to tell you, my pastor loves you, Jimmy Pruitt, over here in Fredericksburg, Texas and loves, coming out there and spending time with you. And anyway, so it's great to have you. It's the first time you and I have got time to, got to visit, but I've heard so many good things about you and thanks for putting up with crazy guys like Tim Barton coming out there. You know, I guess. I guess, you know, if you got to have somebody come speak, Tim's your guy.
>> Allen Jackson: We're trying to help Tim learn some history, so every time we get a chance, we take advantage of it.
>> Rick Green: Yeah, and. And get him over his nervousness, where he'll get up in front of a room, you know, can actually talk to people.
>> Allen Jackson: Well, and stop speaking so slowly. We're trying to help, you pick up his cadence that.
>> Rick Green: That slow Texas draw, you know, that you've never heard from a Barton ever. Or Green. Anyway. Hey, man, it's, It's. It's tough to have joy, you know, these trials, but we know in James, we're supposed to do that, and. And Tim and David both thought, man, let's get Allen on to just give us some perspective on the nation right now. And as Christians responding to these. These seismic events that, that. That are happening. And, man, the harvest that's happened.
Your take on the times that we're in and the historic things happening
Oh, there's so many things I want to ask you, but first, just your take on the times that we're in and. And the historic things that are happening.
>> Allen Jackson: Yeah, I think that's such an important question. if we take a step back just a bit. You know, Hebrews talks about God said, once more, I'll shake the earth, earth, so that those things that can be shaken will be revealed as temporary. In my opinion, Covid was, an episode of shaking.
>> Rick Green: Yeah.
>> Allen Jackson: And things got revealed that I didn't expect. Before COVID I trusted the cdc. Before COVID I trusted the ama. Before COVID I trusted the teachers unions to care about students. And in that shaking, some of those things got exposed. But there was good that came out of it, too. I think our schools are getting better. I think that people that are in churches today are more committed to churches. There were good things that came out of the shaking. I thought October 7th, the attack of Hamas on Israel was another tremor in that shaking. I understood the threat to the Jewish people. I was not prepared for the anti Semitism that exploded in America. It wasn't new. It had been latent, and I wasn't aware of it. So I think in that shaking, God revealed something to us. I think Charlie's assassination. We have a Christian martyr in America in the 21st century. Yeah, that's a hard sentence to say, but I believe it's another episode, another tremor in the shaking. And so I think now we've got to be prepared. There's going to be Things exposed. There's going to be a hatred for Christians exposed that we haven't wanted to look at. It isn't new. It's being uncovered. And then I think we'll see a corresponding move of God. So it's an uncomfortable time. It's an awkward time, and we have to choose whether we're going to respond with fear at the threats that are being rather loudly pronounced. We're going to respond with courage and faith and perseverance. I'm, pretty confident that Charlie could talk to us today with the perspective he's had since last Wednesday. He would tell us to double down on going forward so we will not stop.
>> Rick Green: Amen.
>> Rick Green: Amen. All of that. So, so good. you know, I'm hearing from people that. That have never spoken up before, and maybe felt like they didn't have a platform, but at the same time were afraid to even share their Christian faith or share their love of patriotism in the country that are now finding their voice. That seems to be one of the really positive things out of this. As the church and as Christians, what's the best way for people to be ready to answer, to do one Peter 3:15 and to do it boldly? Acts 4:29. what are you saying to people now that are like, well, I want to speak up. I want to do something so that we're not just ignorance on fire, but we're actually spreading the gospel as applied to everything in life. What are you telling people that are now hungry and they want to be a part of the solution?
>> Allen Jackson: Well, I think your point is really spot on. We have been afraid, we've been intimidated because we heard the language pointed to Charlie, that he was a fascist and a bigot and a Nazi, and he spewed hatred and he was the point of division. Not true.
>> Rick Green: Right.
>> Allen Jackson: that is really a completely false narrative. And all of us have to own a little bit of this. We can't just point at a shooter on a roof. In our timidity, in our cowardice, in our reluctance, in our hesitation, we pushed Charlie way out in front of the parade. He was simply, in the most kind, winsome, open, conversational way, having a dialogue about biblical worldview that does not make you a purveyor of hate. And we cannot allow that narrative to be established. I'll give you an example. I have a lot of acquaintances, associates, people I know who are agnostic. They don't believe in God. They don't believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. They don't believe in what I represent as a pastor. I don't hate them. I don't want them to be shut down or silenced. That doesn't feel personal to me. They have a different worldview. They have a different opinion. Okay. We can have a dialogue about that. I hope they'll change their mind. But I'm not going to be quiet because agnostics exist. Yeah. Well, in a similar vein, if I say I don't believe that, transgenderism represents something God created, I think it's a perversion of God's order of human sexuality. That doesn't mean I hate people, and it certainly doesn't mean I'm a target for it to be silenced and shut down. And Christians have been too timid. We've made too many friends with evil, and we built too many bridges with wickedness. And now we seem surprised that evil and wickedness has walked over the bridge and is standing amongst us. We've got to have the courage to come back and tell the truth, not in an angry way.
>> Rick Green: Right.
>> Allen Jackson: But I will not be silenced by somebody who disagrees with me saying I'm being hateful. I'm not being hateful. I'm just giving you my perspective.
>> Rick Green: Yeah.
>> Allen Jackson: And we are a nation of diverse opinions and ideas, and we have been that way for a long time. This weaponization is something new. Charlie wasn't assassinated because of a political opinion. We have a very wide spectrum of opinions in the political arena. The next mayor of New York, barring some supernatural intervention, is going to be a proudly avowed communist. I mean, I don't really love that economic system, but if the people in New York City want to live under that authority, help yourselves. They have the right to do that. He has the right to choose that viewpoint. Since when did having a disagreement be a legitimate reason for hate and murder? The Christians better find the courage to say no, or they're going to keep hunting Christians.
>> Rick Green: Yeah.
>> Rick Green: Yeah.
Charlie was assassinated for applying the Bible to everything in life, Pastor says
And everything you just. I was thinking about. We used to say. Used to be common to say, I don't. I don't agree with you. but I'd fight and die for your right to say what you believe, you know, and now it's, I don't agree with you, so you're going to die so that I don't have to listen and you can't influence other people. It's terrible. You just made a really important point, Pastor. Charlie was not assassinated for a political position. He was assassinated for applying the Bible to everything in life. I mean, everything that he. He would Answer to those students. Everything that he taught in our Biblical Citizenship class and all the things that he was doing was just the gospel. He was just applying the gospel to all of these issues of the world. And we need to make sure that the church understands that, that this was literally preaching the Gospel. That's why when you said he's a martyr, you're spot on. He was martyred for expressing his Christian faith. No different than Stephen.
>> Allen Jackson: absolutely. And I think the other thing to add to that is this isn't new. This is a part of what we signed up for. When the New Testament says, endure hardship like a good soldier of Jesus Christ, that's not just metaphorical language. Paul writes that as somebody who's been beaten almost to death multiple times, he's been expelled from multiple cities, he bore in his body the marks of suffering. I, mean, we go all the way back to the Old Testament, the Hebrew Bible. Isaiah was sawn in half because the king and his advisors didn't like Isaiah's perspective. In Acts, chapter 12, James is beheaded because Herod's poll numbers went up. He arrested Peter and was going to cut his head off, too. In Acts, chapter seven, Stephen was martyred because of his advocacy for Jesus. We walk through the history of the church. I mean, martyrdom is a part of the story all the way into the Book of Revelation. And I'm looking at these people if. If they came to your place of business or to your neighborhood. Hunting Christians, is your Christian reputation out front enough that you would be at the top of the list? If it's not, I have a question for you. When the Lord returns, what makes you think he's going to come looking for you if you're not willing to be an advocate for him in the face of threat? Why do you think he's going to come looking for you when he's coming on a search and rescue mission, which is what his return is really about. We've got to have a different stature and a different attitude. We have been convenience Christians, and we've got to be Christians who lead with our faith.
>> Rick Green: Convenience Christians.
Pastor Jackson: Transgender Christians need to go away after Charlie's death
Pastor Jackson, I'm going to read to you just a quick line from one of my students here at Patriot Academy. She sent me this note Wednesday, night after Charlie was assassinated. She said, we, too, find tragedy calling us to a greater resolve. Greater. She'd been talking about Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and having increased, devotion to the call for which they gave the last full measure of devotion. But then she said, we have been called to a Greater resolve, greater passion, greater action. These years have shown us. These last weeks have shown us we can no longer be couch Christians, comfortable in our apathy while our house is burning down. God has called us to be warriors of faith with the gentleness and compassion of lambs and the purpose and passion of lions. What do you think of that?
>> Allen Jackson: I think that's a message that needs to be shouted from the housetop. Stops.
>> Rick Green: Yeah. Amen.
>> Allen Jackson: You know, I've been using a phrase the last few days since Charlie's death about trans Christians, and I don't mean transgender Christians. You know, transgender people say they wake up in the morning and decide how they're going to identify whether they're male or man or woman. Has nothing to do with their biology or their chromosomes. It's how they happen to identify today. Well, I think we have a whole group of people who are trans Christians. Again, not their sexuality. They may be living ungodly lives, but they come sit in a church on Sunday and identify as a Christian.
>> Rick Green: Wow.
>> Allen Jackson: There's no such thing. You can't be practicing immorality, you can't be practicing adultery, or you can't be practicing fornication or practicing envy or unforgiveness and then identify as a Christian. You can't practice ungodliness and imagine yourself as a Christ follower. And we've had too much sloppy grace. I'm a believer in grace. You look up grace, you probably find my picture. M. But the trans Christianity has got to go away. We are under the sovereign authority of an almighty God. It's not about my opinion. You know, Jesus was about love. But that, the only sermon he preached wasn't the Sermon on the Mount. He also looked at audiences and said, you're a bunch of snakes and a bunch of whitewashed tombs, and you look for disciples and make them twice the child of hell you are. And he told parables about brides waiting for a bridegroom that got shut out of the wedding and weeping of gnashing of teeth. And, I mean, there's a lot more to Jesus message than some of our fair weather Christian messengers have been delivering to the flock.
>> Rick Green: Amen.
>> Allen Jackson: And it's time to tell the truth. They're hunting us. We're going to have to have a better grasp on the truth and a willingness to identify with our friend Jesus.
>> Rick Green: Amen.
>> Rick Green: Oh, last, thing, I know I kept you longer than I said I would. this harvest that is coming in, I think of the Jesus revolution and how we did great at getting people to walk the aisle or the beach and give their life to the Lord, but did terrible at discipling them. to literally walk with the Lord. how do we do that better this time?
>> Allen Jackson: It's a really good question. I think growth is always about fundamentals. I think we keep pointing to the necessity of daily engagement with the word of God with the intent to walk in obedience. None of us do that perfectly. But if we don't have the intent, we won't do it at all.
>> Rick Green: That's good.
>> Allen Jackson: We have to live in community. You know, we can't. We see the destruction that comes from living in your basement online. The same is true of Christians that live in their home with nothing but a live stream feed to another group of Christians. We've got to engage in the messy business of doing life together. We get mad in the parking lot. We get mad when somebody sits in our seat. We get mad because we can't bring our pet to church. And, we've got to learn how to walk through all of those things in community. And so I think we come back to the fundamentals, and we don't allow big crowds to be equated with revival. Revival is about the transformation of lives. A change of culture, a change of behaviors. You know, when the Western Revival took place in America, it had such an impact that whiskey consumption plummeted. There should be some measurable changes in culture that reflect the revival, not just attendance in meetings.
>> Rick Green: That's right.
>> Rick Green: Yeah, that's true. True. awakening and reformation. When we see the change in the culture. Pastor, you gotta. I gotta. We gotta get you back. I know the Bartons will want you back. I'd love to have you back. Thank you for all that you're doing. Thank you for mentoring other pastors for the conferences that you're doing. Just all of the work, to help the church deal with the situations that we're facing. I appreciate even the language that you use today. I think it's important to position ourselves in that. In that way. Just, appreciate everything you're doing, man. Let's get you back soon.
>> Allen Jackson: Absolutely, Rick. We will not stop.
>> Rick Green: Amen. Amen. Stay with us, folks. We'll be right back with David and Tim Barton.

Wall Builders podcast features interviews with Christian leaders on American Family Radio
>> Rick Green: All right, well folks, thanks for letting me share that interview from the Wall Builders radio program, which you can hear on AFR on the weekends. And just, just thankful for pastors like Allen Jackson. I mean that's, that, that should give you some hope. You know, there's a lot more of those out there than, than you think. I know I, I'm pretty bad about, you know, complaining about the pastors that will not speak truth. And we spend a lot of time trying to wake them up and encouraging our constitution coaches and others to go to their pastors and ask them to engage in the culture and speak to the things that are happening. And I think maybe sometimes I lean too far that direction and I don't talk enough about the incredible pastors that are being bold and that are doing a great job, like Allen Jackson, like my pastor, Pastor Jimmy Pruitt. I mean, there's a lot of good ones out there. And, and I also think what's happening now, the Charlie Kirk effect is that it is not just giving people like you and me that are, doing our normal thing in regular life, not necessarily in a pastor position, the courage to speak up. It's encouraging pastors. I mean, it's getting pastors to say, you know what, this was an amazing effect on the culture and the most incredible sharing of the gospel and all of those things. I think I need to see what I can learn here. So my prayer is that, seeing more pastors come to even the Liberty Pastors event that I'm at this weekend in Florida and seeing them go to the turning point faith events, I just think there's a real chance for an awakening that the church has to be at the center of. No doubt about it.
>> Rick Green: We're going to take a quick break.

Rick Green interviews Jeremy Dys on Wall Builders
>> Rick Green: We're back. Thanks for staying with me here on, at the Core with Wacca Wall and Rick Green. I'm Rick Green, America's Constitution coach. And I got one more interview to share with you here in our final segment today, this one also on Wall Builders last week. But, just a great conversation with Jeremy Dys if you're not familiar with First Liberty and need to be, first liberty.org that's Kelly Shackelford's one started it there. They've won all kinds of cases at the Supreme Court. I mean, the Coach Kennedy case, a lot of other ones, and just great folks do it, do a phenomenal job. And this one, I'm telling you, I.
>> Rick Green: Had no idea this case had even.
>> Rick Green: Taken place, and I absolutely love it, so had to share it with you. So let's jump into that interview with Jeremy Dys on the Wall Builders program.
Jeremy Dys: This case involves religious liberty and the Second Amendment
>> Rick Green: And with us, Jeremy Dys back with us from First Liberty. And I'm gonna love this show today, Jeremy, because it's a combo of religious liberty and the Second Amendment. We don't get to have that much fun very often, do we?
>> Jeremy Dys: No, no, it's great. When those things come together, they go in order. Remember, you got to defend one to preserve the other.
>> Rick Green: That's right. That's right. No doubt about it. Oh, man. So, and, and in New York, that's the other thing. So this is good news coming out of New York. just a quick brief. This case you guys had, in New York, dealing with a church and the state trying to, you know, basically prevent them from, exercising their Second Amendment rights. And, and, the court, has ordered a significant, amount of attorney's fees, which is also great because it's a deterrent to government stepping on these rights. And, and First Liberty's been at the forefront of even getting it to the point where we could get that done. So, anyway, let's. Let's catch up. Tell us about the case and, and, what do you think is going to happen next here?
>> Jeremy Dys: You got to get a running start in this. You got to go back a couple years when the Supreme Court of the United States handed down the, the New York rifle and gun, or pistol and gun. I can never remember. Let's call it the Bruin case. That was the defendant in that case. Ah, the Bruin case. Paul Clement and Eryn Murphy worked on that case at the Supreme Court and won. You'll remember that that was the case that Paul Clement was fired from his firm for. For, representing that group, on behalf of the Second Amendment Amendment.
>> Rick Green: I did not remember that. Wow.
>> Jeremy Dys: Yeah. He had won three out of four cases the Supreme Court that year, including that one. And that was the tipping point for the firm. They kicked him out of the firm over that case. But, as it went on, about eight days after that opinion comes down from the Supreme Court, the New York assembly passes a new piece of gun control legislation. They're very proud of it. And in that legislation, they say that local businesses, they can choose whether or not people carry concealed on their property or not. It's up to the business owners as to whether or not they allow that to be the case case. You, can make some arguments around the edges of that, but that's sort of responsive to the spring for its opinion in Bruin. But they do not afford that same freedom to houses of worship. And so there is a group of plaintiffs to get together. We got a call out of the blue. I hadn't actually really thought about this, but I get a call from a pastor that we had represented previously in Elmira, New York, up in the. The Finger Lakes region of New York. He says, hey, look, I've got a concealed carry permit. and I want to make sure that people on our campus are free to be able to do the same things and protect our flock. He says, I view my role as the shepherd of this church very seriously, and I must protect the flock of this church. And that includes protecting them physically. And so I want to make arrangements for people to be able to carry on our campus, but the law doesn't allow us to do that. And so we said, we're in. We filed a lawsuit. in fact, the judge up there held arguments on our preliminary injunction motion before Christmas. Like two days before this, the blizzard hits Buffalo. He has this, argument up there in, In New York, and then, we win that preliminary injunction. The state appeals that case to the. To the Second Circuit in New York City, and we win that case as well. And so we have prevailed now totally. Now, we. Really important in this matter, by the way, is that we filed, yes, under the second Amendment rights following the Bruin decision. But we also said that the First Amendment entitles him to be able to freely exercise his faith, determining who can do what on his campus, but also prevents the government. Now, this is the establishment side of the First Amendment that prevents the government from telling them what their religion actually is and how it is to be practiced on their own church property. And, so we prevailed on both of those notions. In fact, we're the only case that won because we cited the First Amendment. Everybody else lost on Second Amendment grounds. We won on the First Amendment and prevented the state from continuing its draconian law. we go back down, they get rid of that policy. They allow us to enter a permanent injunction to allow that policy to be changed. The churches are now free to be able to allow people to do the same thing business owners can do do. All that remained then was attorney speeds. Well, the state didn't want to pay us, and so we had to litigate that case as well. and in the course of that litigation, we. The. The state is basically saying, First Liberty, Paul Clement, Eryn Murphy, they're all entitled to about 16% of what they actually submitted in terms of their fee bill here. So we're just entitled not to all of the money that we represented this client for. We're only entitled to 16%. And the court responds back and says, no way. Way. these are high quality attorneys. Paul Clement, Eryn Murphy. They're some of the best litigators in the country. First Liberty Institute, not a. Not a bad outfit either. They're pretty good. And so they're all entitled. And our local council up there as well, we're entitled to every bit of the money that we spend, litigating this case. And so they awarded us 100%, the court did, of our attorney fee bill, which comes out to somewhere over $800,000, which, frankly, was a steal deal for the state of New York. It was actually a fairly short litigation, mercifully for them, I suppose, but still. 807, 817,000, I think, dollars that we received in attorney's fees. Just under a million dollars to remind the government that they cannot trample over the civil rights of our clients, including churches, when they exercise both their first amendment and their Second Amendment rights.
>> Rick Green: I had to laugh at you, man. for your, for your humility, insane. First Liberty, a decent outfit. what are you guys, like, four for Fourth Supreme Court or something crazy?
>> Jeremy Dys: I think it's a lot higher than that, even. But, yes, we're good.
>> Rick Green: Y.
Jeremy Dys: First Amendment and Second Amendment clash over church gun rights
>> Rick Green: Nine for nine or eight for now. I don't know. Anyway, y', all, y' all are gotta be one of the top, certainly one of the top public, interest firms in the, In. In the country. No doubt about it. Y' all do incredible work, but, but my first question, to you about the case is. Has nothing to do with the first or Second Amendment. You said Elmyra, New York. So not Elvira, like Oak Ridge boys, for the older people as old as me, that might get that. but El Meyer, I don't know.
>> Jeremy Dys: What that says about me now, but I get that reference. Yeah, Elmira, it's up there right at the bottom of the finger legs.
>> Rick Green: And the pastor was the one to say, hey, I got a duty here to defend my flock. Kind of like the old, black, robe regiment pastors in the founding era that, did the same thing. that's just encouraging to me. Very, very, very cool. But I think if I understood you right, you said it's not that the case was trying to say that, the churches, couldn't say you can't carry. So in other words, if the church, like a business, said, this is our private property, property, and we don't want you carrying, and we've got our own. Security team or what, they could do. That, but they weren't allowed to say you can carry. Am I understanding that right?
>> Jeremy Dys: Yeah, it's kind of both. And really, the church was not given the same freedom that the local businesses were given at the end of the day, right? So they could have, like, police officers or whatever, they could hire security to be able to do these things. But the businesses were allowed to choose whether or not people could exercise their Second Amendment rights by carrying a, a concealed weapon on their property, lawfully license and all the things that came with that, that. But the church was not given that same fundamental freedom. and so that's where we really pitch the, the case on to say, there's a lot of problems here under the Second Amendment. Obviously that. That's part of it all. But, you know, if the new test, as it is for both the First Amendment and the Second Amendment is the history and tradition of our country when it comes to the free exercise of religion, the establishment thereof, as well as the Second Amendment, we've got all kinds of cases that can support that. And we, we went into great detail to explain that. In fact, let me just give you the one that I think is the most obvious. Is sure you'll remember this painting of the pilgrims walking in Plymouth from their houses to morning worship. And there's the. The priest is sort of in the center of the picture. And there's some pilgrims that. With their hats and buckled shoes and all that. And then at either end, there's these Guys carrying blunderbusses, you know, this picture, they're walking through the snow. Oh, yeah, we put that right in the complaint to say, look, this goes all the way back to before we were actually a country where this was a common duty. There were, there were laws in the early colonial period that required people to carry a weapon to church. Church for, for various reasons. there are constitutional amendments in various state constitutions, that, that provide for this very thing. And so the, the point is that our history is replete with examples of, of not only First Amendment activity, but also the, the, the laws of this country and the traditions of the people within it, being very friendly towards the Second Amendment and especially in regards to houses of worship.
>> Rick Green: That's so good. Yeah, I, I had forgotten about that. That painting. You're exactly what you just described. Oh, so good, man.
Jeremy Appreciate: Anything you want to let listeners know about today
Well, listen, great victory, before I let you go, any other, anything coming up, that you want to just let our listeners knows about, know about? I know you guys have so many cases you're working on at one time, but, I didn't give you a heads up. I was going to ask you that, but is there any, anything you want to let folks know about while we got you?
>> Jeremy Dys: Yeah, that's all right. Look, we've got. Whenever I'm asked that question, I'm like, oh, where do I start? Right, right. Here's one that people can just be in prayer for right now. Right. Frankly, we've been litigating the case for 10 years now. This, is a case out of Florida where Cambridge, ah, Christian School, who's our client, they won the right to play in the state championship football game against another Christian school from the other side of the state. They are taking this game at the. What's now Camping World Stadium. used to be the Citrus bowl, when it was originally opened as the, I think is the Orange bowl or the Tangerine Bowl. Billy Graham came there and christened the stadium with one of his crusades. And he came back two or three more times after that same stadium that they were playing this game in. Well, both teams have a tradition of praying over the loudspeaker prior to kickoff. This is the way that players and fans can unite together. And the only way they can do that in a big stadium like the, the Camping World Stadium. and they, they can only do it over the loudspeaker that way. but the Florida High School Athletic association, the fhsaa, they said that that would be a violation of separation of Church and state. Now, they didn't say, we own the microphone. You can't do that. They said, this is a public property, and if you were to use the public microphone to engage in prayer, that would violate the separation of church and state. We can't allow you to do that. And they cited a specific case called Santa Fe versus Doe as the reasons for why they had to say, no. we've been litigating that case, like I told you, since 2015 when that case started. 2016 is when we filed the lawsuit that is now pending as a petition before the Supreme Court of the United States. In the next about a month or so, the Supreme Court is going to have that fully in front of them, and the justices are going to go back in their own chambers, back in the conference room together, and consider that petition, out of a stack of a thousand other ones, determine whether or not they need to take that case. So if you're, if you're interested or inclined, number one, go to first liberty.org and you can learn all about that case. But, boy, it would really be helpful. Since there's only like 1% of the cases that are petitioned to the Supreme Court actually are heard. Your prayers would be very much welcome because this is a really critical case for religious freedom across the country. Imagine a, future in which you are told that, as a student, that prayer in public is wrong. If you do that on public piece of property, that has to be condemned and silenced and censored rather than welcomed as a part of the rest of the history of our country.
>> Rick Green: And, and being, you know, the thing, we need more in the public square and, and certainly, for our whole culture. So, yeah, that's, that's a good one. Okay, first liberty.org we can get on the email list. Keep up with all the different cases, including that one. Great place, folks, for you. Make a contribution today as well. Jeremy and, and, Kelly and that whole team, man, they are, they are out there making a huge difference, dealing with a lot of different cases, and it takes fuel in the tank to do those things. so please go to first liberty.org today, make that contribution. Get on the email list, and as Jeremy said, make sure you're praying for that specific case as it, will be in the stack with the Supreme Court deciding which cases are going to.
>> Rick Green: Take on this next one.
>> Rick Green: Jeremy, God bless you, man. Appreciate you so much. Appreciate everything y' all are doing. We'll see you soon.
>> Jeremy Dys: Thank you, sir.
Jeremy Dys: I think it's important for all ministries to pull together
>> Rick Green: All right, folks, hope you enjoyed that with Jeremy Dys again, the website is first liberty.org to follow their cases, make contributions, support what they're doing. I do want to say thank you to David and Tim Barton as well, for letting me share some of the Wall Builders interviews once in a while. It's a. And it's just a great, great, synergy, I think, between Wall Builders and Patriot Academy and American Family Association. I think it's so important for all of our ministries to pull together during this time. I even have been having some meetings while I'm in Florida with the Liberty, Pastors Group and Paul Blair and Citizens Defending Freedom and Steve Maxwell and some, of the Turning Point folks. And just a lot of people that have been doing some great work out there. and part of our conversations have just been how do we lock shields better? How do we. Do we really seize this moment, this harvest that's out there? And I loved hearing even some of.
>> Rick Green: Them talk about, because some of these. Folks, man, we've been doing this a long time. I've been in this for 30 years. Of course, David Barton blazed the trail with that book Myth of Separation of Church and State and America To Pray or Not to pray, 40 years ago and American Family Association 10 years before that. Even so, a lot of people that are on the front lines and have been in this fight for a long time fully recognized that ministries. I'm trying to think of a nice. Way to say this, okay, but ministries tend to have, too much of the turf war mentality where they don't work well together because they're always worried about the other one taking their donors or their people or whatever. And I guess that's just human nature. It's in business, it's in wherever you're going to be. but man, we're the body of Christ and we need to be working together. And there's no point in duplicating a lot of the things that, we've done in, in the past. And I just sense a change in that. I just sense a, maybe it's part of what I felt at the, at the Charlie Kirk Memorial and just all the ministries that were there and all the people that had been, working together once in a while. But there's just a new sense of camaraderie. There's a new sense of, hey, let me. What can I do to serve you? You know, part of our conversation has been always having an open hand towards all of these things, whether it's your, your business or your Ministry or whatever it is that you're. I learned Benham Brothers a long time ago. If you're not familiar with them, they're great guys. you know, just phenomenal at coaching people on how to, strive to achieve what God's given you. You know, do the Colossians 3:23 thing. Everything we do, we do the best that we can. As in a God not unto men, but having an open hand as you approach it. I think it was their book, whatever the cost, if I remember right, and it stuck with me. I just always. I've thought about Patriot Academy or even getting to do radio like this or whatever it is that God's. Bless us with the opportunity to do. Always having an open hand where you're saying, lord, I'm going to, I'm going to pursue this thing. I'm going to work hard for it. But you want to take it from me, hey, that's your call. You know, if you want to move me somewhere else, you're the one with the plan. I mean, I, you're the one directing our steps. I mean, we make our plans, but he directs our steps. And I am sensing that from these other ministry leaders, these organizations, there's just a desire to. To be used of God and work with other people that are striving for the kingdom and not be about building our own kingdoms, not be about, self promotion. that's such a turn off now. You know, the people that just want to. Want to talk about themselves all the time and their, you know, their personal name and their, you know, I don't know. I'm trying not to say this in a rude way.
>> Rick Green: I guess. I guess I think that history of building up the name and then the ministry kind of goes away when that person goes away. I'm hoping that we're moving away from that and we're moving towards kingdom building. And as we build the kingdom, you know, when our day is done and the Lord calls us home, that there's others that step in and continue to build the kingdom with whatever it was, whatever the things were that God had given us to do. And, you know, you're certainly seeing that with American Family Association. The ability for that to be passed down generation after generation, and the ministry continues and grows. it's a beautiful, beautiful thing. All right, out of time for today, folks. Have a fantastic rest of your week. Walker will be with you tomorrow, and I'll be back with you next Tuesday. You've been listening to that corps.
